Guard Sustains Serious Injuries
A security guard working at the Toronto home of hip-hop artist Drake was shot early Tuesday morning, authorities said.
Inspector Paul Krawczyk said during a press conference that a man identified as a security guard was wounded in the shooting outside of the rapper's Toronto mansion around 2 a.m.
Multiple police vehicles were seen outside Drake's mansion in Toronto on Tuesday morning after a shooting in the area sent a man to the hospital with serious injuries.
The shooting happened early on Tuesday morning soon after 2 a.m. local time (7 a.m. UK time) near Bayview Avenue and Lawrence Avenue.
Police have not yet released any information about the suspect or motive in the shooting.
